Balances not updating in transaction screen

Changing the value (or memo) on an existing transaction, does not result in the transaction listing balances being updated. I am normally doing this on a future transfer.

also if you take an exising transaction and change the memo, it changes, and the record is marked as updated. but the master change flag is not set. therefore you can exit the program without saving changes

on current version released 12/5/24 5.8
Running against GTK+ 3.24.38
