breezy hangs on boot

Bug Description

While booting my system hangs with the message showing: "checking battery
status". I have update all files with the kernel being 12-8 but it still hangs.
It also says that xorg has a problem and will not launch.

found the problem. i had nvidia as the driver instead of nv. once i changed it
to nv everything worked.
