Bug Description
Many GTK apps (e.g. Geany) are frozen / black window Content after resuming from Sleep/Suspend .... at least for 10 Minutes ... occurs randomly.
It doesn't always happen, I would say probably about 50% of the time.
And I just noticed that sometimes it automatically recovers after around 10 Minutes of resuming from Sleep/Suspend. But then sometimes the issue reoccurs again, so it's not like it's completely recovered ...
The Applications in question are completely unusable. E.g. Geany only shows the border of the Window, with the "inside" (useful part) of the Application being Black or matching the Window that is/was in Front/Back of it. So you might see e.g. Geany with a Black inner part, or you might see Geany with a Firefox Web Page Inner Part.
When trying to file the bug with `ubuntu-bug` the same Issue occurs. I cannot see anything useful in the App at all (it's just like a Screenshot of my Firefox Session for Instance).
Otherwise the "Solution" is either to Reboot or switch to `CTRL + ALT + F1`, login as `root`, then issue a `/etc/init.

Probably the Window freezing behavior occurred near the end of `Xorg.0.log.old` as it matches the time when the Machine was last rebooted.
`Xorg.0.log` is essentially empty and only shows what looks like the last Boot/Startup Process.
EDIT 1:
Unfortunately `nvidia- bug-report. sh` hands/freezes, also when running with `nvidia- bug-report. sh --output-file nvidia- bug-report. log --safe-mode`.
When I upgraded to Ubuntu Noble (24.04) from Ubuntu Mantic (23.10) I had to **DOWNGRADE** the NVIDIA Drivers to `nvidia- driver- 535`, otherwise the whole DESKTOP (not only a "few" Applications) would freeze every seconds or so (and the Freeze would last approx. 30-60 Seconds - basically completely unusable).
I would say that with `nvidia-driver-535` it's approximately Stable with the exception of resuming from Sleep/Standby and a few Apps misbehaving in that Condition.
My feeling is that GTK+ Applications are all/mostly affected by this issue, but then again I'm not really running KDE/QT Applications that much ...
