The program sort of works. It does remap the desired key. But error messages keep showing on the desktop.

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

Normally this error occurs when the same file is present in both packages, so they should be conflicting to ensure only one of them are installed at a time. However, when I didn't get the same error when installing both on Ubuntu 24.04 and I cannot see the duplicate files listed when comparing the two either

Could you please run `apt policy input-remapper python3-inputremapper` which will list more information on the package versions.
