Bug Description

I've a desktop, in which I have Hardy Heron beta till current updates (25 March, 2008). This computer is connected to the Internet with a LAN (eth0) and no Wireless. When I Suspend to RAM and wake it up, the network stops working. Doing 'sudo ifdown eth0 && sudo ifup eth0' did not fix it.

Attached the 1) ifconfig 2) /etc/network/interfaces

Thank you for your bug report.
This sounds like a duplicate of bug 162654.
Please try if "sudo invoke-rc.d networking restart" fixes it after resuming.
Additionally, bug 183968 might apply here, too. So please check, if the workaround mentioned there helps you.

In case that it's not caused by those two bugs, please re-open (and un-duplicate) this bug report.
