I am trying to install ubuntu 24LTS from pendrive created using linux live usb creator. I chose the standard system installation path without advanced settings. After a few minutes of installation, it aborts.

Thank you for your bug report.

It's weird, the log suggests subiquity is failing to install bootloader packages, the apt index refresh has errors like

Err:2 file:/cdrom noble Release
File not found - /cdrom/dists/noble/Release (2: No such file or directory)
...
E: The repository 'file:/cdrom noble Release' no longer has a Release file.

Usually these types of errors with the cdrom are caused by corruption of the installation media. Could you try redownloading the ISO and/or trying another usb key?

In the event it's still an issue, could you provide the contents of /var/log/installer please?
