When I click on the plugin, nothing appears.

Under the follownig conditions, clicking on the plugin's icon only results in a grayed-out icon and not response.
1.Connect an external display and extend it to the right side.
2.Open a Citrix Workspace app for linux virtual desktop and display it in full screen on an external display.
3.With the virtual desktop given focus, click on the plugin on the xfce4-panel.

pulseaudio and power-manager.
But it also happens with other plugins.
