You should take a look at the end of the file UbiquitySyslog.txt which was automatically added to this bug report. This should give you some pointers as to where the problem lies.
However, Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of- standard- support on April 29, 2021 which was almost three years ago.
