Bug Description

Hardy beta clean install. Firefox 3 beta4.

Removed Totem plugin, installed mozilla-mplayer form the official hardy repo. The installed version shows up as 3.50-1ubuntu2

If you navitate to http://www.cbc.ca, in the right of the page you will see a frame with a "video" label. If you click on the play button, a new small window pops up with the video content, which plays back OK. However the video content should play back "embedded" in the page.

Ubuntu 7.10 and earlier worked fine in this regard, the videos from cbc.ca actually are embedded in the page (same as in windows IE).

Further, if in the small window you click the "full screen" icon (bottom right), the video will go full screen as expected; if in full screen mode you click again in the same icon, instead of the video returning to the embedded page video (or to the small window per the above bug), the video window disappears but the audio keeps playing back. Totally weird.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
