audacious closing unexpectedly when opening sound files

I'm using ubuntu hardy heron 8.04 Beta , the problem is when opening sound files audacious just close or crashes unexpectedly , it happens all the time , when i start it again and select open I noticed that I lost the path that i was trying to run a sound file from and it gives me an older one before crashing , the play list is also an older one.
Some times I'm able to run many files one after one but most of the time I just can play 4 or 5 files then the next one i select it will close or crash .
Thats exactly whats happening with me , i don't know if other people are having the same problem .

Here is a video explaining the problem , as you can see it just crashes and did not remember the last file i played , there is another problem which is the skins do not appear in preferences until refreshed Bug #189292 .

Same problem here. usually I open "folders" from nautilus using right click > "open with audacious", and I see this crash quite often.

The problem disappeared with version 1.5.0 , so i think this bug should be closed.
