Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding update-manager. This problem was most recently seen with package version 1:22.04.20, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/95a5d0f11a1056708cdf69c40a4d4c998ba5f8fc contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

This is blocking LP:2058133.

This occurs because of https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-advantage-client/issues/2434, as described in LP:2004482.
