Ubuntu dock: the background color does not cover the edges

Bug Description

The ubuntu dock maintained by canonical the background color does not cover the edges. The original extension no have this issue because not add a css border. Attached screenshot

I'm unable to reproduce your problem, but I don't have an Nvidia gpu.

I'm not sure this is a bug. It looks like the dock is just misconfigured so try:

  gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock extend-height true

and if that didn't fix it then please try resetting all your customisations back to defaults with:

  dconf reset -f /

And then to return to your config:

Disable the extension 'blur my shell' the ubuntu dock now works fine!
