Bug Description

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Beta

If someone cannot see the screen, it is probably not practical for them to be able to turn on the Screen Reader during the installer unless they happen to know that the screen reader can be activated with Super+Alt+S. (Navigating to the specific item on the second page is very impractical.)

Currently, there is a welcome musical prompt but the screen reader is not automatically turned on nor is there any specific instruction for how someone who cannot see can turn on the screen reader.

Suggestion 1
------------
The welcome page can show two buttons: Continue without Screen Reader and Continue with Screen Reader (with the Screen Reader option being the default). This page would automatically enable the screen reader if a user presses Enter after the welcome music.

Suggestion 2
------------
In addition to Suggestion 1…

The welcome page could include a notice that the screen reader will be automatically turned on in 30 seconds (with a countdown like the Log Out countdown) unless the user clicks Continue without Screen Reader.
