ubuntu stuck at every day

Bug Description

Whenever I open my laptop and start working, after some time , everything will stuck at a point and if i want to open any application then say

"failed to launch "application name"
 failed to execute child process "/usr/lib/*86_64-linux/gnu/glib-2.0/gio-launch-desktop" (input/output error)"

this things automatically starts happening for all the applications (terminal and all application ). and this happens every day And the laptop stops working. Even the laptop doesn't turn off. i forcefully close the laptop ( i already make 30gb swap partition) . and when i hover on anything , my cursor look like square

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Hello, input/output errors like this are usually an indicator of failing hardware. Make sure your backups are in good working order, and make sure you don't overwrite backups with bad data.
