Bug Description
In latest version of tickit, 0.4.4, trying to do any renderbuffer_text functions with a string containing an escape character like '\r', '\n', or '\t' will cause the text to not be printed.
Not sure if this is intentional or not, because who knows how a newline or tab should be treated when printed, but I didn't find anything about it in the html documentation, man pages, or tests. So I'm reporting it as unexpected behavior.
