wish: preference to use the template list when edit a transaction

Each month I receive my salary payment, and I split it into categories: income, tax, welfare, etc. I just wish I could apply a template for this case. Even if the values differ, I would correct them, but the split categories would already be there.

I find that possible when I create a new transaction. What happens is that I want apply a template to an existing transaction.

What happens is that at least once a month I import a QIF file to HomeBank. The salary payment transaction, whose value slightly changes each month, is correctly assigned, but unfortunately automatic categorization does not support splitting. That's why I have to manually edit the transaction to create the splits.
