I believe this is fixed in the yaru-theme update which is also in the PPA. Could you install all updates and try again?

I'm not sure we even need to consider this a valid bug if it only existed in a PPA. But it looks like it might also exist in proposed.

In my Noble w proposed I have yaru-theme 23.10.0-0ubuntu2 and I don't have the problem
