Bug Description

It could be interesting to be able to use some sort of "tokens" when you insert a scheduled transaction.

Suppose you have a mortgage consisting of 100 monthly instalments.
It would be interesting to be able to plan a transaction model in which, for example, you would enter something like 'instalment {actual_instalment} of {total_instalments}' in the memo field.

Do you think it should be possibile to provide a feature like this?

description: updated
summary: - WISH: scheduled transactions autonumber in memo
+ WISH: scheduled transactions tokens in memo

no, because the scheduled txn only knows the amount not the total.

Ok, but I was talking about the number of payments:

- payment 1 of 35
- payment 2 of 35
...
...
- payment 35 of 35

If I set the number of occurencies when I register a template (stop after # occurrencies), the program knows the total number of payments. That's the case of a mortgage.
