Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
$lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 7.10
Release: 7.10
$ apt-cache policy firefox
firefox:
Installed: 3.0~b4+
Candidate: 3.0~b4+
Version table:
*** 3.0~b4+
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
When entering file://
If a filename is very long (200+ char), firefox will word wrap the file over two lines but also abbreviate the filename by inserting "..." in the middle of the file name. If you hover over the file name, you will get the full file name.
I expect to be able to disable the word wrapping abbreviation that inserts the "..." without losing the word wrapping feature.
do you still see this in firefox 3? if so, please file a bug in bugzilla. mozilla. org and post the bug id you get there here.
