Bug Description

Hello, a pal recently mentioned some debugging printk statements in our kernels, eg:

evict_inodes inode 00000000d69da69b, i_count = 1, was skipped!

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2037214 has some additional details.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2041613 looks like an effort to remove it?

This apparently hasn't been finished yet, and it's in the middle of a big run of actual real work, so it might not be super-easy to just yank this out, it might also justify a larger look at the surrounding context.

In noble master-next:

https://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-kernel/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/noble/commit/fs/inode.c?h=master-next&id=603b74b4176fdf6ab2fb83306136947296e7aeb4

Thanks

This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-nvidia-6.8/6.8.0-1006.6~22.04.2 kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-jammy-linux-nvidia-6.8' to 'verification-done-jammy-linux-nvidia-6.8'. If the problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-needed-jammy-linux-nvidia-6.8' to 'verification-failed-jammy-linux-nvidia-6.8'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.
