Thanks for the bug report.
This is a known issue in the grub packaging and a fix is already in progress.

Hi @dbungert - is this an intermittent issue? I was able to install successfully on Feb 22. But today, I haven't been successful after 3-4 attempts. Is it in the installer image itself or stuff being downloaded during the installation that's causing the problem?

We have tried Ubuntu 24.04 server image in pending on FHF-R platform. Ubuntu Server 24.04 (Noble Numbat) Daily Build - Pending

It failed with the panic at very beginning without boot into configuration page. No chance to select which package will be installed.

FHF-R:
WA with early image on this platform also failed with the panic which WA works on EMR/GNR/SRF

Hi quanxian,

The initial bug report was on a known issue with grub multi-install, which is now resolved.
You're now encountering different problems and showing call traces from the kernel, which are not related to the original problem. Would you please move that feedback to a new bug targeting the kernel?
