Please don't attach crash files to bugs because it's a security risk for yourself. Instead run:

  ubuntu-bug /var/crash/YOURFILE.crash

affects: xorg (Ubuntu) → ubuntu

I tried to run the command as you proposed but it is not working.
It shows 'The application Files has closed unexpectedly'

Yes I think you should then be shown some buttons that allow you to click through and report the crash formally.

If you don't have success with 'ubuntu-bug' then try 'apport-cli' instead.
