problem installing pythia and lhapdf

I cannot install lhapdf6 properly, no error but the bin directory is not created. Pythia installation stop with an error.

Follow up on that, I did found a hack of the lhapdf code to have lhapdf 6.5.4 working with python support (I tested with python3.12 to be precise --But I do not recommend to use python3.12--).

I have open a PR to lhapdf author:

But waiting for them to answer I have also updated the "install" command, so if you are interested you can give it a try, such that lhapdf authors will also have feedback with various machine/version of python/... to check if my patch makes sense or not.
