Bug Description

Rhythmbox has certain sound problems playing files wich are lower than 128 kbps ( 96 kbps for instance ), doesn't mattter if its OGG or MP3 it sounds choppy, but when I play them with mplayer they sounds flawlessly, whenever I try to minimize a window rhythmbox pauses the playback until the minimizing process is done and then resumes it.

thanks for your bug report, are you using the crossfading plugin? does it happens without it? Can you attach an example to the report? Can you run gst-launch playbin uri=file:///path/to/file and see if you get the same results? thanks.

I tried disabling the crossfading plugin but the problem remained, I ran the gst-launch command and the song played perfectly without any problems.

did you restart rhythmbox after changing the crossfading option? do you still have the issue in hardy? could you attach an example to the bug?
