Hi Sean,

Thanks for reporting this bug and help making Ubuntu better.

Would you be able to provide a short, verifiable reproducer for this bug?

Also, in which Ubuntu Series did you experience the issue?

Finally, it would also be nice to forward this bug to Debian since the patches in question are also available there.

I am marking this bug report as incomplete until the requested information is provided. Once it is, please, move the status of this bug back to new.

Apologies for just lobbing this over the fence to you.

I will try, but can't provide one currently. Where we are seeing it is (all channels are u-law):

- Incoming call (channel 'A') to asterisk over SIP
- MixMonitor() started on channel 'A'
- Channel 'A' is bridged to channel 'B'
- Channel 'A' is transferred to Channel 'C'
- No audio from channel 'C' is captured on the recording

Ubuntu 22.04
asterisk 1:18.10.0~dfsg+~cs6.10.40431411-2

I will see what I can do.

Thank you for the reply.

I am going to set this bug as Triaged for now, but it is unlikely that we will have the means to reproduce the problem. As Athos said, this should be reported against Debian too because the patches ultimately come from there, so it'd be good to know what the Debian maintainer thinks about the proposed fix.

Meanwhile, would it be possible for you to confirm whether this problem still happens on Mantic? I am assuming that it does, since the patches are still present there.

Thanks.
