I'm going through old miro bug reports and found this one against an earlier version of miro in an previous Ubuntu release. Since miro is a universe component, our focus is primarily on the current development version (currently Lucid).

There haven't been many miro bugs reported recently, so my hope is that whatever caused your crash has since been fixed. But if this is incorrect and you are still seeing it with the newest miro, can you also include your log files from after reproducing the crash? These are located at:

~/.miro/miro-log
~/.miro/miro-downloader-log

Also please list the steps to reproduce the problem, or if crashes randomly what frequency it happens.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from oxymoron69. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
