Classic Ubuntu fonts replace new ones

Bug Description

When fonts-ubuntu-classic is installed, the new Ubuntu fonts get uninstalled: i.e. this package replaces the default fonts-ubuntu package.

I expected that there would be another font entry to choose from (called Ubuntu Classic or something).

I assume this was by design, but giving the old font a different name would allow for switching between the two or using one in certain situations (e.g., if you preferred the old Ubuntu Mono but like the new Ubuntu font otherwise).

Tested using Kubuntu 23.10, fonts-ubuntu-classic 0.83-6ubuntu2.

I agree it would be useful to have both installed at once, but doing so would require the filenames to change AND presumably the file contents to change so they don't call themselves 'Ubuntu' anymore. Editing the old font files is not something I think anyone is going to invest time in, but maybe some day.
