Compiz Dropshadows don't display properly with nvidia 8xxx series cards

Bug Description
After installing the restricted nvidia driver in a fresh hardy heron beta installation, my compiz dropshadows showed up as a yellowish glow at first I thought this to be a feature until I attempted to change them then they would take on the following states (Seemingly at random):
Nonexistant - My dropshadows would disappear
Pinkish - My dropshadows would re-appear as a pinkish glow
Yellowish - My dropshadows would re-appear as a yellowish glow
It has been suggested to me that this was the build of the nvidia driver being used, so I fetched the latest nvidia drivers with envy, only to find that the problems remained the same......
Could it perhaps be some sort of transient in the code for compiz-decorator?
