Bug Description

Mutter causes desktop to extend beyond screen, looks like 2160p on 1440p screen.
This appeared only after installing the latest update of the libmutter package.

I am using 2x Samsung S27AG502NUXEN displays in extended desktop mode (join).

So far the only fix i have found is holding back this package.

Thanks for the bug report. Does the problem only occur after changing display settings? Does it resolve itself after a reboot?

Please also attach a copy of $HOME/.config/monitors.xml

I will retest this once i have access to the problematic computer (it is a work desktop)

The problems appears all the time, only thing that displays it within screen bounds is changing resolution to 1080p.

Reboot does not fix the issue, it is present in login screen as well.

Can you provide a photo of the problem?

Also does your Settings > Displays panel show an 'Adjust for TV' option?

No the option adjust for TV is not there, also the problem is that the screen is out of bounds in right and downward direction, left and upwards fits the screen just fine.

I have attached a image of the problem.
