Bug Description

Binary package hint: sonata

Sonata does intercept play/pause, next and previous keys, but it doesn't intercept volume keys. The result is inconsistent behavior - some keys control the playback on the mpd daemon and some control local playback. This also makes it impossible to use remote control to set volume.

I hat a similar problem upon updating to 8.10. The "Play/Pause" key (shows as 0xa2 in GNOME Keyboard Shortcuts) is no longer caught.

That should be "hit" and "8.04". They key *was* caught properly by Sonata under 7.10.

I need my morning coffee :(
