Bug Description

Having not needed to log in for years, and my password is not working, I have spent hours going through the "forgotten password" route. I receive the code via email and respond.

Step 3 of 3 is "Choose a new password". I do this and hit "Continue" which brings up a "Personal Details" page. This insists on my entering my existing password thus:

"To edit any details on this page, you must confirm your current password."

Am I missing something? If I knew what my current password was, I wouldn't be on this page!

If I enter what I think my old password may have been, it replies with "Error: incorrrect password".
If I do not enter anything, it still asks for my existing password.

I have done this repeatedly to no avail. Either there's a bug or I have overlooked something, but I cannot see what that could be as I have followed the instructions carefully several times.

Hello,

Since you managed to reset the password, you are presented with the "Personal details" page for SSO which allows you to change things like name/password.

After choosing a new password and hitting continue you should be set. Nothing extra should be needed from your side
