Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin
I have Kubuntu Linux 7.10 and use Pidgin 2.2.1 as my instant messenger. Lenguage is Spanish and one of most used letters is "y" that stays for "and". Well, every time I write "y", the system replaces it with "why" that is the pronounced name of the letter. So I have to go back to "why" and erase by hand the "w" and the "h" in excess.
I like Pidgin because it is a very good tool and this is the only thing I have noticed that don't works fine.
