Bug Description

After upgrading from the previous HWE kernel 6.2.0-39-generic to the new HWE kernel 6.5.0-14-generic, the right speaker no longer works. When booting back into the old HWE kernel, the right speaker functions again. The left speaker works in both cases.

Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS with kernel 6.5.0-15-generic installed on Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320, as per OP's description the right speaker does not work. More precisely, as a user stated in the Dell forum "right channel audio is played by left speaker (lower one), and left audio comes from [the] other left speaker". Headphones and external speakers work fine. No apparent discrepancies of volume balance in Alsamixer.
