Bug Description
Easystroke was removed recently due to lack of maintenance:

However, the core functionality still works well, and fixes / patches exist for most of the outstanding issues. I have been using it based on the git repository without issues for many years. Given the unique features it provides, it would be nice to keep it available.
I would be happy to help with this effort -- I was able to create an updated package that incorporates many bug fixes and small improvements and builds on jammy and noble:
