Bug Description
After a fresh install of Ubuntu 23.10 and additionally installing diodon from the universe repo, no diodon icon shows up in the upper panel. In the settings dialog, the indicator applet is checked, which I understand as that there should be an indicator applet showing up.
Hence, accessing the clipboard is a bit tedious, having to press <Super>, "diodon", and <Enter>.
Tried also the ppa, but that version seems slightly behind the universe package, hence nothing changed:
matthias@mwfw:~$ apt-cache policy diodon

This seems to be a duplicate of Bug #2023223 to me. Would be happy to provide further info if helpful. DE is gnome-shell 45.1 afaik (does not show in system info), kernel is 6.5.0-14-generic, window manager is wayland.
I also experience all the issues mentioned in Bug #2029305, probably due to wayland. Maybe I should try to switch to X11 anyway? Have to find out if and how this is possible, however.
Thanks a lot in advance!
