Bug Description

I tried again Hibernating on my R50e (See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ThinkpadR50e).

After pressing Fn-F12 the system seems to hibernate well and turns itself off.
On resuming, I end up with 2 vt's, accesible with alt-F1 and alt-F8.

F8 remains dark, no messages printed

F1 says some strange error messages, many from insmd, then
mknod: /dev/fd0: File exists
/scripts/init-premount/usplash: 44: chmod: not found
