Bug Description
some of our devices just have a miserable time connecting to the server via USB. The network interface saves the day! I would absolutely LOVE if there were a way to indicate books on the device when you connect to the server wirelessly.
My first thought was some kind of javascript running on the http server... but maybe there's some clever way using samba or other file server?

browsers and programs running in them dont have anyway to read files on
their host computers. I suggest you use the calibre content server for
this, it stores books in the browser localstorage. and allows you to
read them offline as well.
