We are wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try it with the latest firefox version? Thanks in advance.

Hello everybody!
The bug I reported is #216354, which was a crash of Firefox when trying
to submit a .crash report.
I do not have any crash report in /var/crash, and therefore I cannot try
with the latest Firefox version, which is the one I use.
By the way, seems to me that Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686;
en-GB; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121621 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.5
works well and is quite stable.
Thanks,
Franco

Upstream support for Firefox 3.0 ended after the release of Firefox 3.0.19 on March 30, 2010. Support for Ubuntu 8.04 "Hardy Heron" ended on 12 May 2011 for desktops, and I doubt anyone is running Firefox on a server.

Closing Firefox 3.0 task.
