Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Turn on the desktop without a network connection and let it do it's jobs for a few minutes.
2. Connect the desktop to the network.
What happens:
1. If there is a snap update, the user is notified about it, but info about the snap (name and the update button) is not displayed.
2. Explore/Categories are not displayed.
What is expected:
1. The app will do it's same tasks when it detect a network connection in the same way as it functions when a network connection is available at startup.

It looks like the bug was fixed but recently my network connection was disconnected during the catalog download. As a result of this, it looks like the same things happen as before: if there is a snap update, I am notified about it, but the info about the snap (name and the update button) is not displayed, and the categories are not displayed in Explore/Categories.
