Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Changed in mysql-5.6 (Ubuntu):

Hello, I marked this bug 'invalid' because it appears you are trying to install a package that was built for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. I don't know what you're trying to accomplish but this is certainly a strange situation that doesn't make sense for us to try to handle directly.

Unrelated to this, you've got these messages in your logs:

[37095.026003] systemd-rc-local-generator[126919]: /etc/rc.local is not marked executable, skipping.

You should investigate this and take corrective action if necessary.

Thanks
