Bug Description
Hello Qpdfview Developers,
I am a user of Qpdfview, currently using version 0.5.0, and I've been enjoying the simplicity and effectiveness of this PDF viewer. However, I've encountered a limitation regarding text selection within PDF documents.
Currently, the text selection process seems to be non-standard and not as intuitive as in other PDF viewers. It lacks a dedicated text selection tool, making it challenging to select and copy text efficiently. This functionality is crucial for users who frequently interact with text-based PDFs for research, study, or work purposes.
I kindly request the addition of a dedicated, user-friendly text selection tool in Qpdfview. This tool would ideally allow for easy selection of text using a standard cursor, with options to copy to clipboard and perhaps even highlight or annotate selected text.
The addition of this feature would greatly enhance the usability of Qpdfview, especially for users who regularly work with text-heavy PDFs.
