Bug Description

Konqueror and Firefox freezes when I load youtube videos, or webpages that contains flash.

This only occurs when using RT kernel. With Generic kernel it works just fine.

Please specify a specific Youtube video that freezes Konqueror and Firefox, unless all Youtube videos crash Firefox/Konqueror all the time.

Please run Firefox through the terminal. Open the terminal (Applications -> Terminal) and enter the command firefox (and press the enter key). When Firefox opens, please reproduce this bug (by visiting Youtube, for example). Once the web browser freezes, copy all of the text in the terminal and paste it here (by selecting the text with the mouse -> right-click -> copy).

Please also specify if you are using 64-bit Ubuntu.

Also pay attention to your system status when doing this test. In Ubuntu, run System -> Administration -> System Monitor, or the KDE System Monitor in Kubuntu (ksysguard %U). Specify any changes in processor usage, RAM usage, and swap usage.

Thank you.

I am sorry to answer that late...

This error does not happen with the latest -rt kernel (2.6.24-15-rt)

It seems the browsers don't freeze anymore when watching flash animations/videos
