Bug Description

In Lubuntu 22.10 (Kinetic) Wi-Fi connection on my laptop was stable. A couple of days ago I upgraded Lubuntu (installed it afresh) to 23.10 (Mantic Minotaur). Now the connection is lost every couple of minutes and reestablished again in 3-20 seconds automatically. The same issue with two different internet providers (two different routers).

Network manager version as told by command "apt-cache policy network-manager" is 1.44.2-1ubuntu1.2.

My laptop model is Digma CITI E401.

sudo lshw -class network

Hello, thanks for your bug report.

Can you collect and attach the Network Manager's systemd journal?

You can get it with "journalctl -u NetworkManager > network-manager.log"

It will help us to identify the problem.

Thank you!

In Lubuntu 22.10 there was another issue with Wi-Fi connection: if it had not been established at boot, there was no way to turn it on, you had to reboot the laptop. I don't know if it was a bug of Lubuntu or a defect of the laptop.

Now over an hour after turning my laptop on network interruptions have ceased. Seems like the cause of the problem is in my laptop itself.
