Bug Description

Using the PDF printer produces no output. This worked fine in Gutsy. It stopped working in Hardy. Using print to file and then choosing PDF does however work as a workaround.

cups-pdf should output PDF files to ~/PDF as defined in /etc/cups/cups-pdf.conf
Does this happen?

I changed it to output to :

Out /home/${USER}/Desktop

Either way, no output.

Then you need to adjust cups apparmor profile accordingly as described in bug 147551.
