Lubuntu noble install.

- hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 8gb amd/ati rv610/radeon hd2400 pro/xt)

replace partition & various (assumed end-user) options selected

** expected outcome

install completes & asks me to reboot

** actual outcome

Installation failed; external command failed to finish, details:
