php8.2-oauth fails with "undefined symbol: php_strlcpy"

After upgrading to php8.2 with mantic, php8.2-oauth fails with:

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'oauth.so' (tried: /usr/lib/php/20220829/oauth.so (/usr/lib/php/20220829/oauth.so: undefined symbol: php_strlcpy)

Versions:

php-oauth: 2.0.7+1.2.3-16build1
php: 8.2.10-2ubuntu1
linux: 6.5.0-10-generic

For what it's worth I uninstalled the apt/deb package and instead installed with pecl...
pecl install oauth
same version and all fine
