Upgrading from 23.04 to 23.10, using xorg desktop. Getting Broken ubuntu-desktop:amd64 in apt.log, upgrade fails

Upgrading from 23.04 to 23.10, using xorg desktop. Upgrade fails.
Had to disable PPA for Vivaldi, that's not a problem.
Did not use ppa-purge because I didn't know which package to purge.
Used Synaptic to fix broken packages, and reload.
Tried to update again, fails again.

I think I'm also having trouble with this bug. I also apparently was able to fix it (at least get passed the place where the upgrade previously failed) by installing the gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-tiling-assistant

Thanks to CW's command ```sudo apt install --fix-broken gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-tiling-assistant```
After that the upgrade went without a hitch.

I do not know if the package gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-tiling-assistant was broken before I first tried to upgrade.

I'm guessing this will be worked on by Canonical developers unless the problem is how the package got broken by some other code.

The bug's title mentions using X.org but Wayland users are also running into the same issue when trying to upgrade to 23.10.

Additionally, the problem is not only with the ubuntu-desktop package. Users of ubuntu-desktop-minimal are also unable to upgrade to 23.10.

Just hit this issue & was about to file a bug when I saw this in the list of bug matches.
As per reply #6, running 'sudo apt install --fix-broken gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-tiling-assistant' resolved the issue for me and the upgrade from 23.04 to 23.10 is in progress.
