Totem fails to play downloaded video - attached are screenshots of the issue.

This maybe duplicate of earlier bugs re:totem but as new release assume best to file new bug (older bugs are 1998782,1969512 and other duplicates )

Thank you for your bug report, from the log on the screenshot it looks like you are missing gstreamer codecs to decode the video you are trying to play (and automatic codec installation isn't working so you would need to install those manually)

Indeed I think this needs to be reassigned to gstreamer-something.

Understood and agree - but regarding the testcase is it then not a bug that the gstreamer codecs are not installed automatically and should a bug report be filed for that matter?

Just for the record - yes - installed the codecs for gstreamer and all is well. Will file a bug re: the gstreamer codecs not being installed automatically - thanks for the info!
