Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

Config: Gusty - gnome.

How to reproduce:

- Go to appearance preferences
- select Custom
- enable something that is not in Normal or in Extra (Rotate Cube for instance)
- switch back to Normal
- switch back to Custom

What to observe:
- the option enabled in the custom preference is not persistent (rotate cube is replaced by some kind of flat desktop switcher).
