Bug Description

Description: Intel Low Power Model Daemon
Intel Low Power Model Daemon is a Linux daemon used to optimize active idle
power. It selects a set of most power efficient CPUs based on configuration
file or CPU topology. Based on system utilization and other hints, it puts the
system into Low Power Mode by activate the power efficient CPUs and disable the
rest, and restore the system from Low Power Mode by activating all CPUs.

Chatted to timhm during the enginerring sprint about this package. As it helps with power savings on latest Intel architectures it'll be of best interest to our users if it's in the archive, and possibly install it by default on such architectures.

Hi, as you have seen, it takes a million years to pass new package review, and I really don't want to restart the progress we have so far. I will send out an update immediately after 0.0.2 finally makes its way into Ubuntu.

Oops, somehow this should have been closed after landing noble on Jan 5. Filed task bug 2054832 for v0.0.3 upgrade.
